New HMRC Advisory Fuel Rates from December 2018

The latest Advisory Fuel Rates (AFR) for company car drivers come into effect from the 1st December.

Rates are changed slightly from September with increases in both the Petrol and LPG rates for larger engine sizes.

The advisory electricity rate (AER) for plug-in cars remains unchanged at 4ppm after being newly introduced in September.

Hybrid and Plug-in hybrid company cars will continue to be treated as either petrol or diesel models for mileage reimbursement purposes.
